Francisco A. Pecci practices admiralty and maritime law at Phelps Dunbar LLP in Mobile, Alabama. Fran obtained his undergraduate degree in 2018 from the University of Alabama, where he served as fraternity president and was involved in various student organizations. Fran briefly worked at a marine insurance brokerage in the year leading up to law school, and, in 2022, graduated with a J.D. from Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. While in law school, Fran received Scholar of Merit awards in Constitutional Law, State & Local Taxation, and Sea, Ocean, and Coastal Law. Since beginning with Phelps, Fran has had the opportunity to work in several practice areas within the maritime industry, including personal injury and property damage litigation, insurance coverage disputes, shipyard transactions, regulatory/administrative claims, and environmental-impact cases. With respect to SEALI, Pecci currently serves Director for the Port of Mobile.
