Keith is a partner in the Houston office and a national co-chair of Blank Rome’s maritime practice group. An experienced maritime litigator, Keith’s practice involves vessel arrests/attachments, maritime lien claims, collisions/allisions, oil and hazardous materials pollution incidents, marine personal injury and cargo damage claims, shipyard and oil rig repair contract disputes, charterparty disputes, Federal Maritime Commission disputes, and extensive marine transportation contract work, as well as federal maritime appellate practice. He is well versed in Foreign Sovereign Immunity Act claims and foreign preferred ship mortgage disputes. He also has represented numerous pro bono clients in immigration proceedings, guardianship cases, and merchant mariner license suspension and revocation proceedings. Keith is a former Coast Guard commander and served as a trial attorney in the Coast Guard's procurement law division and the admiralty section of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Division.
